HARLEM PRE-WAR RESIDENCE

New York, NY

Located in the Manhattanville neighborhood of Harlem, this early pre-war residence was originally designed for entertaining with a full butlers pantry and dining accessory storage closets.  All of the apartment’s original architectural features had been restored with the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms which had been poorly renovated.  We designed custom cabinetry with period trim and coffered ceilings to frame modern amenities.  The bathrooms were demolished and returned to their original design language while showcasing matte subway tile and hex-marble period trim.  We converted an existing unused closet within the dining room into a hidden bar and vinyl music booth.
