New York, NY
Nestled in the historic Tudor City enclave, this penthouse underwent a full gut renovation, seamlessly blending pre-war elegance with modern luxury. In the main living room, we introduced a coffered ceiling, custom shaker paneling, and built-in displays flanking the fireplace to enhance grandeur and historic charm. A bar pass-through was added to open up the formerly enclosed galley kitchen, featuring custom shaker millwork and high-end appliances. The second living area was transformed into a dramatic dining room for entertaining, with a closet-turned-bar accented by bold colors in a traditional architectural language. A hallway bath was reimagined as a refined en suite, featuring marble subway tile and brass finishes, elevating the space with timeless sophistication. This renovation honors the building’s heritage while reinterpreting traditional elements through modern, minimal compositions.
