We were asked by our clients to completely gut renovate and combine two apartments on West End Avenue.  The entry mudroom is comprised of custom, lacquered millwork w/ integrated recessed handles to allow for ample storage while disappearing in a monochromatic tone. The mudroom millwork curves into the kitchen.  The custom kitchen cabinetry features minimal, modern shaker details and brass fittings with bookmatched stone countertops and backsplash.  The kitchen flows into the dining room as a credenza and gallery flanked by more storage.  The cold, industrial radiators are clad in book & plant shelving while the low, dark ceilings in the apartment are dressed in new cove lighting and warm LED strips of light.  Each of the bathrooms are given a distinct personality while sharing a common design vocabulary.
